Council adopts 2023–24 CAPER, clears consent calendar and highlights local events

Mayor Leon also spoke about the upcoming car show at Route 66, the city’s work on a no‑kill animal shelter, thanked attendees and adjourned the meeting. The council scheduled its next regular meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 1.
