Linden council removes several addresses from nuisance list, grants July 6 deadline to others

At its June 15 special meeting the Linden City Council cleared several properties from the city’s nuisance list and set compliance deadlines for others.
Councilmember Dominic Hayden moved and Jesse Walker seconded to remove 302 Evans St from the nuisance list; the motion carried. Councilmember Dale Parker moved and Hayden seconded to remove 310 E North St; that motion carried. Councilmember Tim Hays moved and Hayden seconded to remove 207 S Main St and 109 Short St; the motion carried.
The council also voted to give the owners of 103 Evans St, 105 N Evans St, 320 E North St, 409 N Main St, 320 W North St and 404 North St until the July 6, 2026 meeting to come into compliance before the council takes further action. The minutes record each motion as carried but do not list roll-call tallies for these items.
