The Linden City Council on June 15 approved Resolution 2026-38 to authorize sale of a city parcel in Dallas County described in the resolution’s legal description (commencing at the northeast corner of the SE¼ of the SW¼ of Section 19, Township 79, Range 29 W of the 5th P.M., a 175‑foot square with the public highway occupying 33 feet off the north and east sides).
Councilmember Dominic Hayden moved to approve Resolution 2026-38 and Councilmember Tim Hays seconded. A roll-call vote was taken with Hayden, Hays, Dale Parker and Jesse Walker recorded as voting yes; the motion carried. Chris Davenport was absent for the vote.
