Councilor Nick Smith moved approval of Resolution 2026-010 appointing Heather Larson, Jennifer Hengel, Louane Daidson, Juliann Frick, Burton Svendsen, Kati Welti and Jaime Knutson as election judges and naming Tiffany Jacobson, City Clerk, as head election judge and trainer. Councilor Andrew Linder seconded the motion and it carried.
Councilor Judi Pronk moved and Councilor Jim O'Donnell seconded adoption of Resolution 2026-011 to adopt the City of Rushford's code of ordinances; the motion carried. The minutes note staff still needs to obtain and post the link to the adopted code on the city's website.
On the consent agenda, the council approved the funds summary and payments for Jan. 26–Feb. 7, 2026. A separate consent item — a quote from Roger Colbenson for 50 flower baskets — showed a $1,250 increase from the previous year's price for the same quantity; the council tabled that quote to allow staff and councilors to investigate the reason for the larger cost.
