Following the report, Mister Powers moved to approve the reimbursement. “Motion to approve the CRA facade grant reimbursement request in the amount of $20,293 to Salty Dog Car Wash,” he said. A second was recorded and the clerk conducted a roll call vote. Chairman DePew, Miss Gillis, Miss Bennington, Miss Dolbo and Mister Powers each voted yes, and the motion carried.
The grant request was processed as part of the medium-scale facade program the board previously approved on Jan. 10, staff said; the program provides matching funds to property owners for eligible exterior improvements. The board did not record any public comments on the item during the meeting.
After the vote the board moved on to the department director’s report, where staff said there was no additional report. The clerk closed the meeting and adjourned.
