The chair recorded that the motion "carries unanimously to close the public hearing." The commission then recorded a motion and second to adjourn; again, the chair recorded unanimous approval. The chair said the body would take a five‑minute break before beginning the regular meeting and announced the adjournment time as 8:47 p.m.
