The Hampton City Council moved, seconded and voted to convene a closed session under Virginia Code §2.2-3711 for consultation with legal counsel on pending litigation and other legal issues, to discuss potential acquisition of real property in the Newmarket Creek area, and to consider appointments including to the Economic Development Authority and the Citizens Police Advisory Group. The motion passed by recorded roll call as recorded in the transcript with councilmembers voting 'Aye.'
