A commission working group told the Environmental Impact Commission that it reviewed sections 5–7 of the Danbury regulations and, in most cases, favors retaining Danbury’s existing language rather than switching to the model regulations.
The group identified several terms that need to be added to the regulations’ definitions page and said it will make clarifying edits as it continues its review. The working group’s next scheduled meeting was proposed for July 29 in the conference room.
No formal regulatory changes were adopted at Tuesday’s meeting; the status remains that the working group will return with specific definition additions and clarifications at a future meeting.
