Chair Nathan Boehm called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. Commissioner Morrell moved and Commissioner Tokach seconded approval of the agenda with an addition; the motion carried unanimously. The commission approved the minutes of the June 4 regular meeting and the June 4 Board of Equalization minutes, and approved bills and payroll. Commissioners approved abatement #7233 and abatement #7234.
Appointments recorded included Dan Schelske to a three-year term on the Morton County Park Board expiring June 30, 2029; Duane Ell to a four-year term on the Morton County Planning & Zoning Board expiring June 30, 2030; Rose Lawson to a three-year term on the Three Rivers Human Service Zone Board expiring June 30, 2029; and Dennis Gustin to a three-year term on the Morton County School Reorganization Board expiring June 30, 2029. All appointments carried on unanimous votes.
The public comment period required by NDCC 44-04-20.1 was opened and, with no speakers present, closed. The commission reported total county funds expended from June 5 through June 23, 2026 equal $730,234.69; a detailed list of checks is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Morton County Auditor’s Office. Chair Nathan Boehm adjourned the meeting at 7:33 p.m.
