The Public Safety Committee met Aug. 12 to review a new D5 liquor-license application for Boozy Blonde LLC (doing business as Slushed by the Boozy Blonde) at 4045 South Main Street in Bueller's Plaza.
Chair Batten said the application is for a new license, and because it is new there are no sheriff's office reports of problems. Committee members and staff noted the owner already operates other Green businesses and no issues were reported on those prior locations. At the appropriate time during the regular council meeting, the chair said she would move that the council not request an evidentiary hearing on TMP500045 because the application is for a new license.
No formal committee vote or conditions were recorded in committee; the matter will be placed on the regular council agenda where members will act on licensing procedure and any request for a hearing.
