Flowood accepts police chief's retirement; appoints interim chief

The acceptance of the retirement and the interim appointment were recorded on the consent agenda and approved unanimously. The city clerk and police department are responsible for processing retirement paperwork and effectuating the interim appointment before the effective retirement date.
