"We feel like we have an agreement with them to move ahead," the parks presenter said, adding an estimated project cost of "probably anywhere between 1.6 and I'll just say 1.7 and change" (estimates).
A board member moved that the parks department enter a cooperative agreement with the schools to pursue the bus‑garage/restroom facility; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously by voice vote.
The parks director said final designs and bids are pending and that the item will go to city council for formal consideration; staff offered to share preliminary drawings with board members after the council introduction.
