Council appoints Christine Kuznick to Parks and Recreation Board

The City of Green council appointed Christine Kuznick to the Parks and Recreation Board during its Oct. 8 meeting after the Rules and Personnel Committee met in executive session to review applicants.
Chair Miller said the committee had three strong applicants and, after discussion, moved to appoint Christine Kuznick to the open position. The motion was seconded and the clerk called the roll; the chair announced the motion carried and the appointment was confirmed.
Why it matters: Appointing a board member fills an open seat on the Parks and Recreation Board and allows the board to move forward with scheduled work. The committee’s evaluation occurred in executive session and the public meeting recorded only the motion, second, roll call and the announcement that the motion carried.
