Hancock Selectpersons approve warrants, personnel policy, office closure and accept Cemetery Road findings

Town Clerk/Administrative Assistant Cheryl Robinson reported several administrative items. The board voted to close the clerk's office at noon on June 30 for year-end processing (motion by Jack Bridges, second by Bill Birdsall) and approved an updated personnel policy (motion by Adam Foster, second by Jack Bridges); both motions passed 5-0.
The Selectpersons formally accepted the Town Attorney's Findings of Fact/Decision on Cemetery Road after Selectperson Jack Bridges shared the attorney's document; the acceptance motion was made by Carol Lowrie, seconded by Adam Foster and passed 5-0. The minutes do not detail the substance of the findings but record formal acceptance.
The board approved several payables and payroll warrants during the meeting as recorded in the minutes: Warrant #113 ($19,931.76), Warrant #114 (HVFD, $1,127.69), Warrant #112 (payroll, $4,496.07), Warrant #115 (payroll, $5,976.40) and Warrant #116 (payroll, $13,580.77). Each warrant was approved by recorded motion and passed 5-0.
The meeting also included department updates (Fire Chief Chris Holmes said the new station may open at the end of July) and scheduling of a Carter's Beach walkthrough in October before resuming project work. The board adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
