The MSD of New Durham Township School Board on Oct. 26 approved posted personnel recommendations and reviewed a tentative labor agreement without taking further action.
The minutes list no resignations. The board approved recommendations to hire Alyssa Stephen for Food Service and Bryce Barton as the elementary boys basketball coach, and to accept Ryan Weaver as an elementary boys basketball volunteer. Lynn Wilson moved to approve the posted resignations, recommendations and volunteers; the motion was seconded by Mr. Hodge and the minutes state "Motion carried." The minutes do not record a roll-call vote tally or individual votes. Notably, the attendance section of the minutes lists Wayne Hodge as absent, a discrepancy the minutes do not explain; the record nonetheless shows "Mr. Hodge seconded the motion."
The board also reviewed the 2021–2023 tentative agreement with the Westville Teachers Association as an informational item and took no formal action on the agreement that evening.
The meeting was called to order by Board President Mark Parkman at 4:02 p.m. and adjourned at 4:09 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center.
