The board also adopted three Homelessness and Supportive Housing resolutions (items 16–18) to amend or extend existing agreements, including a second amendment with Episcopal Community Services to increase the agreement by approximately $25,000,000 (new total approx. $72,200,000) and a third amendment to Nextdoor Shelter contracts increasing funding by approximately $26,700,000 (new total approx. $59,200,000).
On item 19, supervisors approved a first amendment to the senior operating subsidy grant with Chinatown SROs LLC, increasing the grant by $572,000 to a new total of $6,700,000 to fully fund rent subsidies for 35 extremely low‑income seniors at 1005 Powell Street through June 30, 2039.
Items requiring and receiving recorded votes included the minutes and the consent package; the clerk recorded 11 ayes for the minutes and later noted 11 ayes on multiple consent votes. Several items were adopted "without objection" under same‑house, same‑call.
What happens next: Several ordinances passed on first reading; per standard procedure those measures will return for a second reading and final adoption consistent with the board’s rules and state law.
