EMA Director Phil Davis informed the board that former Commissioner Carol Grose had been serving on the Local Emergency Planning Committee, which handles hazardous materials planning and matters related to the Environmental Right to Know Act. The LEPC meets every other month via Zoom for one to two hours with an in-person, publicly open meeting in July.
Commissioner Charles Crosby asked whether the board had historically had commissioner representation; Davis said yes. Commissioner McPhee volunteered to take the seat to maintain commissioner representation on the committee.
