The Borough of Old Tappan mayor and council approved two personnel reappointments and adopted a consent resolution covering routine administrative items during their regular meeting.
Borough Clerk staff presented the reappointment of Tax Collector Evelyn Scott to a four-year term and the reappointment of Fire Marshal Evan Kudson to a two-year term. The council called for and completed a roll-call vote to approve the reappointments. The clerk then read a consent resolution covering bills and claims, release of cash bonds and escrow, a general capital authorization balance adjustment, tax overpayments and refunds, a contract award for Olde Pan Road, a golf course maintenance contract, confirmation of the tax-collector appointment, the appointment of a new firefighter, a park arbor waiver and adoption of the Bergen County multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan.
The consent agenda was adopted without discussion. The clerk listed the consent items and the council recorded affirmative votes to move the items forward.
The meeting record shows routine procedural handling of these items; no public commentary on these approvals was recorded during the meeting. The minutes for the council’s January meetings were approved later in the session.
