The council approved a 3% annual pay adjustment for dispatch manager Leslie, and separately approved a $1,000 longevity payment reflecting Leslie's 29 years of service with the City of Green. "Thank you very much," Leslie said after the motion passed.
Council members also voted to adopt an updated, shorter job description for the fiscal agent that reflects current duties and transfers some responsibilities to the treasurer and dispatch staff. The revision was presented as part of the organization's push to implement best practices following the consultants' review.
All personnel actions were taken by motion and roll call; specifics about implementation dates and payroll processing were left to staff to carry out and record in payroll systems.
