Commission approves identification sign for RLD Relocation & Logistics

The Green City Planning & Zoning Commission approved an identification monument sign for RLD Relocation & Logistics at its Aug. 21, 2024 meeting.
Staff told the commission the sign, proposed for 3060 Brookline Road, is 32 square feet and 7 feet tall, includes the required street number and sits about 35 feet outside the road right-of-way. The Design Review Board recommended approval and staff said the proposal complies with the city’s sign code.
Sue Sanford of Adam Signs presented the design and materials, saying the aluminum cabinet will match the building. No members of the commission or the public offered objections during the public comment period.
Commissioner (S4) moved to approve item 24-25; Commissioner (S9) seconded. A roll-call vote recorded affirmative responses from Ms. Chadsey, Ms. Liedroski, Mr. Birch and Mr. Kuwash, and the motion carried.
The permit was approved as presented with staff and design-review conditions noted in the staff report. No additional conditions were added at the meeting.
The commission moved on to the next agenda item after the vote.
