Proctor told the committee that the U.S. Forest Service will not remove obstructions from the creek channel, and members discussed applying for a fire permit to clear oak firewood in the channel. The committee agreed to contact Daisy Kinsey about pursuing the permit and to explore assistance from the volunteer group "Dirt Bags." No formal contract or bid award was recorded in the minutes.
