Board members raised concerns about the city code’s attendance rule, which the staff representative described as automatic removal after three missed meetings unless council acts by resolution. Several members asked for flexibility when meeting dates change; staff said they would pass those concerns to council leadership for consideration.
A board member raised a geographic-access concern for senior services, noting that Johns Creek has about 82,000 residents and a single senior center located on the city’s extreme southwest edge. Staff said they would follow up in February and explore discussions with neighboring Alpharetta to identify options.
