City staff asked the Finance Committee to authorize a $16,400 contract with CloudPoint Geospatial for the installation and configuration of ArcGIS Enterprise, a server‑level geographic information system platform.
Christy Lingenfelter told the committee the contract will let the city serve GIS data currently known to a single employee out to other departments so engineering, planning and the fire department can access the same authoritative datasets and tools. “The first step is this software package,” Lingenfelter said, and she noted the city already holds the necessary license so the contract is only for professional services and is included in the current budget.
The Finance Committee agreed to move the item forward for second reading.
