Alameda County supervisors recess to closed session; clerk says no reportable actions taken

The meeting opened with a roll call by the clerk that named Supervisors Halbert, Marquez, Tam and Carson and the board president. The presiding official then invited comments on the closed-session agenda; the clerk reported that there were no speakers on those items.
The board recessed into closed session for matters discussed off the public record. After returning from closed session, the clerk again conducted a roll check and initially recorded Supervisors Halbert and Marquez as excused and Supervisors Tam and Carson and the president as present. The clerk stated on the record: “The board did not take reportable actions in closed session.”
With no further business, the presiding official adjourned the special meeting for Thursday, Sept. 19.
