The Hasbrouck Heights Mayor and Council approved a consent agenda and a bills resolution during their March 25, 2025 meeting that together authorize multiple routine administrative actions, a park engineering contract and boroughwide technology upgrades.
Acting Borough Clerk Michelle Sery read the consent agenda covering Resolutions 79 through 87. The listed items included dealer licenses for motor vehicle sales, municipal endorsing resolutions for trust fund applications, cancellation of outstanding checks, and an award of engineering services to Neglia Engineering for improvements to Miers Park (LRIG funded). The consent agenda also authorized a non-fair-and-open contract to upgrade borough network switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points and power supply backup systems for all borough departments.
During the same meeting the clerk read a bills resolution certifying that claims and accounts totaling $238,887.12 have been examined and that funding is available; the council approved payment of those claims. The council approved the consent agenda and the bills resolution by unanimous vote with the five members present.
The awards and authorizations taken under the consent agenda will proceed under the terms specified in the resolutions. The Miers Park engineering contract is designated as LRIG-funded in the clerkreading; the council did not discuss substantive changes to the contract terms during the meeting.
