Brentwood aldermen approve T‑Mobile permit, sign‑plan amendment and temporary parking extension

Planning staff reported no individual condo owner comments were received; packet material included an email exchange from the property owner clarifying that on‑site parking is designated for retail and restaurant uses, with hours adjustments to allow off‑hour use by others. Motion to perfect passed and the board voted unanimously; the bill becomes Ordinance No. 52 11.
Bill No. 6583: Second reading of Amended Bill No. 6583, an amendment to Ordinance No. 4051 authorizing a comprehensive sign plan for Hanley Station. Aldermen questioned what the term “neutral” window color meant; planning staff cited examples (black, white, neutral tan) and pointed to revised plans received Jan. 13 showing a white background. Motion passed on roll call; the bill becomes Ordinance No. 52 12.
Bill No. 6587: Second reading of Bill No. 6587, an ordinance enacting emergency measures to extend the continued use of temporary parking lots for Brentwood Park. Public works staff described changes to a north lot to address dust and runoff (creating a v‑ditch, relocating gravel and testing biodegradable dust controls) and proposed a 180‑day extension because the current permit was due to expire Jan. 26. The board voted unanimously; the bill becomes Ordinance No. 52 13.
