Ryan Spencer, City Planner for the City of Town and Country, presented the non-residential addition at 849 Salt Mill Road and described the scope and materials. Mrs Benes asked whether the roof was flat; Mr Spencer said it had a slight pitch. Board members expressed that the addition was not as detailed as the original building and discussed the lack of natural light in interior offices and concern about plumbing on an exterior wall.
Mrs Proost moved to approve the project with the condition that windows be added to the offices; Mrs Jaworski seconded. The board took a voice vote and unanimously recommended approval, authorizing issuance of a building permit contingent on meeting all applicable codes and ordinances and the added windows condition.
The approval includes the explicit condition for windows in office spaces; permit review should confirm compliance with the condition and standard code requirements.
