The Green City Council on April 28 approved multiple contract awards, adopted a community‑corrections services resolution and approved routine packet items.
Council members voted to approve the April 14, 2026 meeting minutes and the March 2026 electronic financial report after roll calls; both motions were seconded and carried. The clerk recorded the votes.
On third reading the council adopted Resolution 2026‑R11 to award the city’s pavement‑marking contract to Aeromark Company LLC. The engineer’s estimate for that project was $267,000; the lowest bid was $210,606.73 with an alternate and a 10% contingency authorizing a contract amount of $246,618.93.
Also on third reading the council adopted Resolution 2026‑R12 to award the 2026 resurfacing project to Barber Kiss Construction Co., Inc. The base bid reported at the meeting was $686,754.75; with alternates and a 10% contingency the committee listed a total contract amount of $1,035,057.75.
On second reading the council adopted Resolution 2026‑R19 to contract with Orianna House (referred to in committee as O'Ranah House) to provide community correctional services retroactive to Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026. Committee materials presented actual service cost details in an attached contract; finance staff told the committee the city had budgeted $5,000 for these services and prior years’ expenditures were marginal.
All recorded legislative votes described during the meeting were recorded as carried by roll call (the clerk recorded each member’s vote).
