Planning staff backs renewal of water and sewer extension approvals; commission issues positive referral

The Planning Commission on Sept. 18 recommended that the City Council renew previously approved water and sewer extensions for parcels on Great Plain and Great Meadow roads, forwarding the item with a positive referral.
Deputy Planning Director Jennifer Aminter told the commission the renewal request repeats approvals previously granted July 14 and that staff recommends carrying forward the same density restrictions and public works engineering conditions tied to the earlier approval. Aminter said staff had not spoken with the director of public works prior to the meeting and noted the city council would make the ultimate decision.
Commissioner Miss Hofstadter moved for a positive referral, the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The item will go to the City Council for final action.
