Interim Public Works Director Phil Adlich told the Energy and Sustainability Task Force that Schneider Electric is continuing the city energy audit and has scheduled a project-status meeting in about two weeks to review progress.
Phil told members Schneider Electric is measuring solar panels and assessing renewable-energy opportunities as part of the audit work. The task force discussed these steps as part of the broader energy-efficiency and renewable-energy workstreams but did not take formal action on incentives, installations, or funding at this meeting.
The task force agreed to continue coordinating with Schneider Electric and to receive updates at a future meeting once measurements and the status meeting yield more detailed findings.
