Howard County panel approves liquor license for Angeli’s Pizzeria in Ellicott City

The Howard County Alcohol Beverage Hearing Board approved a new seven‑day on‑sale beer, wine and liquor license for 10039 LLC trading as Angeli’s Pizzeria, to be located in Ellicott City, after hearing testimony from the applicants and their counsel.
Counsel Sang Oh introduced the applicants and said Angeli’s is an established Baltimore brand seeking to open a suburban location. Jeanette Oster, sworn as a proposed resident agent and co‑manager, acknowledged earlier violations at a different concept several years ago (incidents from 2014–2018 that the board discussed in the hearing record) and said the company has since expanded to multiple locations without subsequent violations. "We learned a lot," Oster said, adding that the business now enforces daily ID checks, maintains training teams and assigns certified managers to new openings.
Board members asked about staffing, hours and certification; applicants said they plan initial, hands‑on oversight during the first months and will maintain certified managers thereafter. After deliberation, the board moved, seconded and voted to approve the license; the applicants waived their right to appeal.
