McBean told the board she spends roughly 50–60 hours per week on site, that 8 employees will be involved in alcohol service and that the hotel will card every customer (no vertical IDs accepted). She said alcohol for the service area will be stored in a locked closet accessible only to management. Kramer described corporate accountability and said the owner’s company will investigate any violations and hold employees accountable if infractions occur.
Counsel said the location had previously been licensed from 2019 to 2022 and that the prior license was surrendered in 2023 to resolve corporate ownership issues rather than because of a regulatory violation. Commissioners described the application as straightforward; the board moved and approved the license and the applicants waived the right to appeal.
