Williams Elementary outlines accessible playground replacement, hopes for community build

He said the school has made progress on fundraising, plans a phased installation with city staff and vendors, and hopes the work will be completed by the next school year. Simon also said the school intends to organize a vendor-assisted community build similar to previous playground projects.
The committee received the presentation for consideration; no funding decision was made at the March 16 meeting.
