Student representatives and principals brief board on end-of-year activities and events

Student Representative Linkenmeyer reported on Leader in Me training, state track participation, the school carnival, the annual breakfast, the NICC Women's Empowerment Conference and a wrestling camp by Gabel Hemann. Student Representative Miller reported on new FFA officers and contests, trap shooting, Senior Award Night, graduation time capsule plans and the spirit hand-off.
Principals Heather Suckow and Marcia Grimm outlined building-level items including ISASP testing, field trips (Niagara Cave and Alter Metal), college visits, National Guard Day, Nature Day for biology, community service day and an upcoming cattlemen grilling event. Those updates were presented as informational and did not require board action.
The board acknowledged the updates during the meeting and proceeded with routine agenda items.
