Eric, speaking for Parks & Recreation, said the 2026 budget included $250,000 for design, split equally between fund 40 and fund 50. Committee member speaker 5 made a motion to recommend that staff advertise for an RFQ and to solicit professional design services; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Chairman Lochmuller said staff will return to the committee with RFQ responses and task-order recommendations for later approval. No design contract was executed at the meeting.
