Megan Lamarzee thanked county staff, school and county leaders and residents for their trust and said oversight is challenging but essential. "Oversight is hard...the reason it works in Montgomery County is everyone here really continues to lean into our values," she said.
A motion to reappoint was moved and seconded on the record. The council then voted by voice/hand and the president announced the motion passed unanimously among those present.
The reappointment secures Lamarzee's second full term; the council recorded no roll-call tally in the transcript beyond the president's statement that the vote was unanimous.
