Preston schools honored for NAEYC accreditation at BOE meeting

The Preston Board of Education used part of its March 10 meeting to recognize staff members who contributed to programs that earned NAEYC accreditation. Those named by Superintendent Dr. Roy Seitsinger were Ray Bernier, Lynn DePina, Gail Smith, Shante Talley, Zoe Geise, Dawn Stofega, Barbara Bruyneel, Beth Bonosconi, Christine McNeil, Jill DePina, Lisa Barile and Heather Anderson; each received a certificate and will receive a Nike zip-up jacket.
Dr. Seitsinger also noted that the district observed Read Across America activities and that the board was being recognized during Board Appreciation Month. The recognitions were presented as part of the superintendent’s updates; no board action was required on the recognitions.
