Krotz Springs aldermen unanimously approve grant applications for water work and adopt pollution-prevention resolution

A second resolution, filed under the Community Development FY 2024-2025 Local Government Assistance Program, was adopted to pursue a grant to purchase a building to be used for filling storage for the town. Alderman Larry Martinez moved the resolution and Alderman Nyssa Godwin seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also adopted the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention (MWPP) resolution. The motion to adopt the MWPP resolution was made by Alderman Keith Ardoin and seconded by Councilwoman Cindy Stelly; it carried by unanimous vote.
