During the public comment period, Jessica Post (16484 Horseshoe Ridge Road) spoke in support of Mr. Brda’s proposal and in favor of using solar energy; Frances Babb (2001 Kehrsdale Court) also spoke in support and commented on the application process for solar panels and on energy backup.
The roll-call vote on Resolution 25-06 recorded yes votes from Aldermen Jeff Schweig, Andrew Low, Brock MacDonald, Lin Midyett and Tracy Nuelle; Alderman Courtney Birkel was absent. Mayor McNamara declared the resolution passed.
Earlier in the meeting the board amended the posted agenda to remove an item listed as the “East-West Gateway Grant Application.” Alderman Brock MacDonald moved to amend the agenda and Alderman Andrew Low seconded; the amendment passed by voice vote. The board then approved the amended agenda by unanimous voice vote.
The special meeting convened at 5:00 p.m., and the board adjourned at 5:16 p.m.
