On April 8 the Warren Hills Regional Board of Education approved the district calendar for the 2025–26 school year, and adjusted the 2024–25 calendar so that schools will make up a February 6 closing on Tuesday, June 10 and a May 23 closure on Wednesday, June 11; the last day of school for students was set for Wednesday, June 11 with an 11:55 a.m. dismissal.
Superintendent Earl C. Clymer III also described district goals for 2024–25 focused on the Cluster Curriculum Project to strengthen vertical articulation and assessment alignment, culture and climate initiatives including a District Mental Health Team and DREAMS program, and guidance on the use of AI tools in education.
During the presenters segment, Ms. Manfra described the Warren Hills Best Buddies chapter—identified as the largest chapter in New Jersey—and outlined events including Buddy PE, Unified Bowling and a Color Run scheduled for May 10. The board congratulated Addison Wood on being named a Warren County representative to the state board recognition program.
Board members approved the calendar and related policy motions by roll call; Jean Hansen and Paula Merrill were recorded absent.
The calendar materials distributed at the meeting note the district may add additional make-up days if a majority of scheduled emergency closing days are used and provide links to the district website for updates.
