The Warren Hills Regional Board of Education on April 8 approved a package of personnel motions recommended by Superintendent Earl C. Clymer III.
Among the approvals, Margaret Devine was appointed High School Horizons advisor with a prorated $3,300 stipend. The board accepted the resignation of Marcus Gurdineer, effective May 26, 2025; the packet lists his teaching contract, coaching assignment and step/salary information. Other personnel actions included approval of leave replacements, paraprofessional appointments and acceptance of resignations as listed in the personnel roster.
The board also approved multiple clinical experiences and internships, including placements for Arianna Morillo under Centenary University supervision, and several travel and conference requests for staff professional development. A paternity leave for a custodian was recorded with anticipated dates and paid/unpaid day allocations noted on the personnel sheet.
These motions were moved by Lisa Marshall, seconded by Amy Kemp (personnel slate), and carried by roll call with Jean Hansen and Paula Merrill recorded absent.
Board minutes indicate some personnel matters were discussed in executive session prior to the public meeting; the motions that require public action were presented and passed at the public meeting.
