Warren Hills board approves $3.09M bill list, sets 2025–26 tuition rates and ratifies administrator MOA

At its Feb. 11 meeting the Warren Hills board accepted December financial reports, approved a $3,088,235.44 bill list, set 2025–26 tuition rates (regular grades 7–12 at $20,500), ratified an administrators' memorandum of agreement, authorized Title I salary use and accepted a $2,500 Samsung prize for the engineering program.
The Warren Hills Regional Board of Education on Feb. 11 approved a suite of budget and finance motions, including acceptance of the December 2024 Secretary and Treasurer reports, approval of a bill list totaling $3,088,235.44, and adoption of 2025–2026 tuition rates.
Under the motions approved by the board, tuition for Grades 7–8 and Grades 9–12 regular programs was set at $20,500 for 2025–26; other program rates on the agenda included Learning & Language Disability at $22,000, Emotional Regulation & Impairment Disability at $22,500, and Multiple Disability/Autism at $28,600. The agenda also recorded transfers of $9,653 for December and student activities and cafeteria bill lists of $21,476.91 and $179,667.37, respectively.
The board ratified a Memorandum of Agreement with the Warren Hills Regional Administrator Association dated Dec. 12, 2024, covering the contract period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027, and authorized the Board President to execute an appropriate successor collective negotiations agreement upon finalization. The minutes show Title I funds will be used to pay two listed employees (Geraldine Congdon and Loretta Kirkpatrick).
Separately, the board approved a LearnWell home/bedside instruction agreement for Student #4924140597 at $61.25 per hour plus a 33% administrative/ preparation charge, and accepted a $2,500 prize package from Samsung as a state finalist in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Challenge designated for the district’s engineering program.
The budget and finance motions passed by roll call with seven members voting in favor; two members were recorded as absent.
