Board hears chiller, roof and solar-monitoring updates; Performance Services to return

Construction updates reported that a chiller was scheduled to be installed the week after Fall Break and that roofers must return in November to finish work after difficulties removing a membrane. A manufacturer visit was planned to determine whether a membrane defect exists before completing the roof project.
On the district's solar project, the board packet included an updated NIPSCO billing sheet showing one year of tracked bills. The minutes state that NIPSCO resolved a surge issue; Performance Services will return to verify system performance and to restore the district's monitoring system, which remains down.
No board action was taken on construction or solar items during the Oct. 13 meeting; updates were provided for information and follow-up work was assigned to contractors and vendors.
