Later in the meeting the council considered a lot‑division application at 924 Public Avenue. City planner Lucy Falsi described the proposal to split an existing roughly 5‑acre lot into two buildable parcels and an L‑shaped non‑buildable tract intended for pedestrian access and potential transfer to Plews Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI). Administrative Committee recommended approval subject to modifying boundaries to maintain a 50‑foot width for a possible future Cherry Blossom Lane expansion. The applicants indicated they are amenable to that condition; the council approved the lot division with the 50‑foot condition.
Other procedural items: the council approved the consent agenda early in the meeting and the mayor reminded attendees of a public budget workshop starting the following Wednesday and the August 17 public hearing on the FY27 budget. The council adjourned into executive session under Idaho Code 74‑206(1)(f) and did not reconvene.
