Council adopts residential permit parking for Lehigh Place

The ordinance, presented by Council President Jamillah Z. Beasley with Brown and Hudley listed as movers on procedural motions, says vehicles parked in violation will be subject to towing and fines as set in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III. The minutes note resident parking permits will be provided by the Township and that inconsistent ordinances are repealed; the ordinance takes effect upon final passage and publication according to law.
The public hearing on the ordinance was opened and closed with no public members requesting to be heard. The motion to adopt on second reading passed with Council Member Vick absent.
