Chair Maegor told the Transportation, Connectivity and Stormwater Committee that bids for the Arlington Road corridor are expected to open in March and that construction is planned to start this summer. He said utility relocation work led by AT&T will begin within weeks.
When asked for an engineer estimate, a staff member said roughly $15 million and another speaker suggested "like 16-ish, something like that, $16,000,000." Chair Maegor said staff will provide a formal estimate to committee members.
The committee did not take formal action; members asked staff to follow up with a written engineer estimate.
