Committee member William Whesper asked about current stormwater conditions; the committee agreed with concerns raised by the project Engineer about a ‘‘bubble‑out’’ discharge inlet that may require redesign or mitigation.
Committee member Patricia Gray Hendricks asked whether the project conforms to the municipal redevelopment plan; the committee asked that that question be addressed in the applicant’s resubmission. Members also agreed with the Engineer’s comment that left turns from the site’s egress driveway could create conflicts and should be evaluated.
The committee recommended replacing the sidewalk in front of the adjacent lot and requested that the applicant provide a separate county road improvement sheet to document any proposed changes to the county‑owned right of way.
No formal vote on the project design or approvals took place during the session; the discussion generated requests for plan revisions and additional documentation that the applicant must supply before final county review.
