Committee members welcomed the news but asked the event organizers to provide follow‑up to the ATAX committee and staff showing the sponsorship terms and any organizational financial controls enacted since prior years. ATAX committee members said they had previously denied a supplemental funding request after reviewing the organization's financials; several committee members asked that the Concours share its revised financial plan and a timeline for next year's ATAX request, if any.
Staff said the town would accept a formal letter from the Concours declining additional funding and documenting any proposed town support opportunities that do not involve extra ATAX disbursements. No committee vote was required.
