Tomball council approves ordinance rezoning, sets appointment date and ratifies property purchase; multiple votes 5-0
Summary

Grants and resolutions: Council approved Resolution No. 20 26 15 authorizing staff to submit a pre-application for Phase 2 of the downtown alley-improvement project to the Texas Community Development Block Grant program (estimated project cost $1,900,000; maximum grant up to $1,000,000; estimated local match $900,000) by a 5-0 vote. Council also accepted a $32,850 donation from the Tomball Regional Health Foundation to buy automated external defibrillators, approved 5-0.
Real estate: The council ratified a contract meeting conditions for the purchase of 213 West Main, described as the city's mission/information center expansion, and the motion carried 5-0.
