Finance committee chair reported the largest items included a $400,000 corporate estimated tax refund, $175,000 related to the Core center (including equipment and preliminary operating costs), $35,000 for sports equipment and $140,000 for computerized access points, network switches and cameras. "That represents almost two‑thirds of the money being asked for in this operating appropriation," the committee chair said during the committee report.
The motion to adopt R25 was made by the finance committee and passed on a roll call vote recorded in the meeting minutes as 5 yes, 0 no. The committee reported no additional old or new business and the finance committee adjourned shortly after its recommendation.
